Effective 2026-06-14. These draft terms explain the rules for using Hello Mac. They should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before production launch.

The service
Hello Mac is a WhatsApp-native coaching and tracking service. You can send messages, meal photos, weigh-ins and activity updates. Mac estimates nutrition, records progress, gives coaching prompts and shows a dashboard summary.
The service depends on third-party providers including WhatsApp messaging, payment processing, hosting and AI model providers. We may update, suspend or change features where needed to keep the service secure, reliable or commercially viable.
Health limitations
Hello Mac is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or emergency support. You are responsible for deciding whether coaching suggestions are suitable for you. Read the Health Disclaimer before using the service.
Accounts and acceptable use
You must provide accurate account information, keep magic login links private, and use the service only for lawful personal purposes. Do not send abusive, illegal, exploitative, infringing or deliberately harmful content, attempt to disrupt the service, scrape the dashboard, reverse engineer private systems, or impersonate another person.
We may restrict or close an account if we reasonably believe it is being misused, creates risk for other users or providers, or breaches these terms.
Trials, billing and cancellation
Unless stated otherwise at checkout, Hello Mac starts with a 7-day free trial and then renews monthly at the price shown before you subscribe. Payments are handled by Stripe. You can cancel at any time through the dashboard, Stripe checkout/customer portal where available, or by contacting us.
Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges. Where consumer law gives you cancellation or refund rights, those rights still apply. Otherwise, refunds are discretionary unless we have charged you in error or failed to provide the paid service.
AI outputs and accuracy
AI-generated estimates can be wrong. Meal macros, calories, coaching suggestions and summaries are approximate and should be checked where accuracy matters. You should not rely on Hello Mac as your only source for health, nutrition, training, medical, legal or financial decisions.
Your content and data
You keep ownership of messages, photos and other content you send. You give us permission to process that content to provide, secure, maintain and improve Hello Mac. Our handling of personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, Hello Mac is provided on an as-available basis and we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate inputs, AI mistakes, third-party outages, missed messages, or decisions you make based on the service.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms when the product, providers, pricing or law changes. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable way. These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer law gives you additional rights where you live.
